The Tamil Nadu Open University Diploma in Female Multipurpose Health Worker is a comprehensive program designed to equip female health workers with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide quality health care services to their communities. The program covers a wide range of topics, including anatomy and physiology, nutrition, health promotion, disease prevention, and health care delivery. The curriculum also includes a strong emphasis on communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the development of leadership and management skills.

The program is designed to provide students with the opportunity to gain practical experience in a variety of health care settings. Students are required to complete a minimum of 250 hours of clinical practice in a variety of health care settings, including hospitals, clinics, and community health centers. This hands-on experience provides students with the opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills they have learned in the classroom to real-world situations. Upon completion of the program, graduates are eligible to take the National Health Worker Certification Exam and become certified Female Multipurpose Health Workers.
