Silver Oak University’s Certificate in Nursing Assistant course is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become a successful nursing assistant. The program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the roles and responsibilities of a nursing assistant, as well as the necessary skills to provide quality care to patients. The program is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills to work in a variety of healthcare settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, and home health care.

The program consists of a combination of classroom instruction and clinical experience. The classroom instruction covers topics such as anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, patient care, and communication. The clinical experience provides students with the opportunity to practice their skills in a real-world setting. Students will learn how to take vital signs, assist with patient care, and provide emotional support to patients.

The program also provides students with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a variety of healthcare settings. Students will gain experience in providing direct patient care, as well as in administrative roles. Students will also learn how to work with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and therapists.

Upon completion of the program, students will be prepared to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Nursing Assistants (NCLEX-NA). This exam is required for certification as a nursing assistant. Students who successfully complete the program will be eligible to work as a nursing assistant in a variety of healthcare settings.
