Ranchi University Diploma in Assistant Nursing & Midwifery Course 2023
The course is divided into four semesters, with each semester focusing on a different area of nursing and midwifery. During the first semester, students learn about the fundamentals of nursing and midwifery, including anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, and medical-surgical nursing. In the second semester, students learn about obstetrics and gynecology, community health nursing, and health promotion. The third semester focuses on clinical training, and the fourth semester focuses on research and management.
Upon completion of the program, students are eligible to take the Nursing and Midwifery Council of India (NMCI) examination. Successful completion of the examination allows students to register as a nurse or midwife in India.
