Chhatrapati Panjab University Certificate in HIV and Family Education Course is designed to provide students with an in-depth understanding of HIV/AIDS and its impact on families. The course covers topics such as HIV/AIDS prevention, transmission, and treatment; HIV/AIDS-related stigma and discrimination; HIV/AIDS-related legal issues; HIV/AIDS-related mental health issues; HIV/AIDS-related social and economic issues; HIV/AIDS-related reproductive health issues; HIV/AIDS-related nutrition and health issues; and HIV/AIDS-related family planning and counseling.

The course also provides students with the skills and knowledge necessary to effectively educate and support individuals and families affected by HIV/AIDS. Through lectures, discussions, and hands-on activities, students will learn how to develop and implement HIV/AIDS education and prevention programs, how to provide support and counseling to individuals and families affected by HIV/AIDS, and how to advocate for HIV/AIDS-related rights and services.

In addition, the course will provide students with the opportunity to gain practical experience in HIV/AIDS education and prevention through field trips, internships, and volunteer activities. Upon completion of the course, students will be prepared to work in HIV/AIDS-related fields, such as health education, social work, and public health.
