Mewar University offers a Certificate in Dresser and Plaster Technician course programme to equip students with the skills and knowledge required to become a professional dresser and plaster technician. The course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the principles and techniques of dressmaking and plastering. The programme covers topics such as fabric selection, pattern making, cutting and stitching, plastering techniques, and finishing techniques. It also includes practical training on the use of tools and equipment used in the trade.

The course is divided into two semesters, each of which is composed of four modules. The first semester focuses on the basics of dressmaking and plastering, while the second semester covers more advanced topics. During the course, students will learn how to measure and cut fabric, create patterns, and sew garments. They will also learn how to mix and apply plaster, and how to finish and decorate surfaces.

At the end of the course, students will be able to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the principles and techniques of dressmaking and plastering. They will also be able to demonstrate the ability to use tools and equipment safely and effectively.
