Mangalayatan University Diploma in Assistant Nursing & Midwifery Course 2023
The course is divided into four semesters, each focusing on a different aspect of nursing and midwifery. The first semester focuses on the fundamentals of nursing and midwifery, including anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, medical terminology, and patient care. The second semester focuses on the clinical aspects of nursing and midwifery, including clinical skills, patient assessment, and medical ethics. The third semester focuses on the management aspects of nursing and midwifery, including budgeting, staffing, and quality assurance. The fourth semester focuses on the professional aspects of nursing and midwifery, including communication, leadership, and professional development.
The course also provides students with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field through clinical placements. The clinical placements provide students with the opportunity to gain practical experience in a variety of healthcare settings, such as hospitals, nursing homes, and community health centers. Upon successful completion of the course, students are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) and become a Registered Nurse.
