Jawaharlal Nehru University Diploma in Allied Health Sciences Course 2023
The course is divided into two semesters, each of which consists of four months of classroom instruction and two months of practical training. During the classroom instruction, students are taught the fundamentals of the allied health sciences, including anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pharmacology, pathology, microbiology, and medical ethics. They are also taught the basics of medical equipment and techniques, as well as the application of medical knowledge in clinical settings. During the practical training, students are given the opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills in a clinical setting.
The course also includes a number of elective courses, which allow students to specialize in a particular area of the allied health sciences. These elective courses include topics such as nutrition, public health, medical sociology, and medical informatics. Upon successful completion of the course, students are awarded a diploma in Allied Health Sciences. This diploma is recognized by the Indian Medical Council and is accepted by many employers in the health care sector.
