Jagannath University offers a Certificate in Medical Dresser programme, which is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become a successful medical dresser. The programme provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the medical dresser profession, including the principles of medical dresser practice, the roles and responsibilities of a medical dresser, and the legal and ethical considerations of the profession. The programme also covers topics such as infection control, medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and medical equipment and supplies.

The programme is designed to be completed in one year and consists of three semesters. During the first semester, students will learn the basics of medical dresser practice, including the roles and responsibilities of a medical dresser, medical terminology, and infection control. In the second semester, students will learn about anatomy and physiology, medical equipment and supplies, and medical dresser practice. The third semester focuses on the legal and ethical considerations of the profession, as well as the principles of medical dresser practice.

Upon completion of the programme, students will be able to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the medical dresser profession and its associated roles and responsibilities. They will also be able to demonstrate the ability to apply the principles of medical dresser practice in a variety of settings. Students will be able to demonstrate the ability to identify and use medical equipment and supplies, as well as the ability to apply infection control procedures. Finally, students will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the legal and ethical considerations of the profession.
