ITM University’s Certificate in Emergency Medical Technology course is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become competent and confident emergency medical technicians. The course focuses on the fundamentals of emergency medical care, including patient assessment, airway management, medical emergencies, trauma management, and medical terminology. Students will learn how to assess and manage medical emergencies, as well as how to provide basic life support. The course also covers the legal and ethical aspects of emergency medical care, and provides an overview of the roles and responsibilities of an emergency medical technician. Through classroom lectures, hands-on practice, and clinical experience, students will gain the skills and knowledge necessary to provide quality emergency medical care.
