Indira Gandhi National Open University Diploma in TB Health Visitor Course 2023
The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) Diploma in TB Health Visitor course is a one-year program designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills required to work as TB Health Visitors. The course focuses on the epidemiology, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of tuberculosis, as well as the social and economic aspects of TB. It also covers the principles of public health, health promotion and health education. The course is divided into four semesters, each of which includes lectures, tutorials, practicals, field visits and assignments. The course also includes a project work in the fourth semester. The course is open to all graduates with a minimum of 50% marks in any discipline. The course fee is Rs. 10,000/-. On successful completion of the course, the student will be awarded a Diploma in TB Health Visitor from IGNOU.
