The IES University Diploma in TB Health Visitor course is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become a TB Health Visitor. The course is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to work with individuals, families, and communities to promote health and prevent the spread of tuberculosis. The course focuses on the principles of public health, epidemiology, and health promotion, as well as the clinical management of TB. The course also provides students with the opportunity to gain practical experience in the field of TB Health Visiting.

The course is divided into four modules, each of which focuses on a different aspect of TB Health Visiting. The first module focuses on the epidemiology and public health aspects of TB, including the history of TB, the current epidemiology of TB, and the public health strategies used to control and prevent the spread of TB. The second module focuses on the clinical management of TB, including the diagnosis and treatment of TB, as well as the management of TB in the community. The third module focuses on the promotion of health and prevention of TB, including the development of health promotion strategies and the use of health education materials. The fourth module focuses on the professional development of TB Health Visitors, including the development of professional networks and the use of research to inform practice.

The course is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become a TB Health Visitor. Upon completion of the course, students will be able to identify and assess the risk of TB in individuals, families, and communities, as well as develop and implement health promotion strategies to prevent the spread of TB.
