Guru Nanak Dev University Certificate in Ophthalmic Assistant course is a comprehensive program designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become a successful ophthalmic assistant. The course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the anatomy and physiology of the eye, the diagnosis and treatment of ophthalmic diseases, and the use of ophthalmic instruments and equipment. The course also covers the principles of ophthalmic optics, contact lens fitting, and the use of ophthalmic drugs.

The course is divided into two parts. The first part covers the fundamentals of ophthalmology, including anatomy and physiology of the eye, diagnosis and treatment of ophthalmic diseases, and the use of ophthalmic instruments and equipment.
