Glocal University Certificate in Nursing Care Assistant is a one-year program designed to prepare students for a career in nursing care. The program focuses on the fundamentals of nursing care, including anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, nutrition, pharmacology, and patient care. Students learn how to provide basic nursing care, such as taking vital signs, administering medications, and providing basic hygiene care. They also learn how to assess patient needs, develop care plans, and communicate effectively with patients and their families. In addition, the program covers topics such as infection control, legal and ethical issues, and medical record keeping. Upon completion of the program, students are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses (NCLEX-PN). This certification is required to work as a nursing care assistant in most states.
