Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Diploma in Assistant Nursing & Midwifery is a two-year diploma course that provides students with the knowledge and skills required to become a competent assistant nurse and midwife. This course is designed to equip students with the necessary skills to work in a variety of health care settings, such as hospitals, clinics, and nursing homes. The course focuses on the fundamentals of nursing and midwifery, including anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, nutrition, and medical-surgical nursing. It also covers topics such as obstetrics, gynecology, and pediatrics. In addition, students will learn about the legal and ethical aspects of nursing and midwifery, as well as communication and interpersonal skills. Upon successful completion of the course, students will be eligible to take the Nursing and Midwifery Council of India (NMCI) examination and become a registered assistant nurse and midwife.
