Dayananda Sagar University (DSU) offers a Diploma in Health Care Nursing course to equip students with the knowledge and skills required to become successful health care professionals. The course is designed to provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills to work in a variety of health care settings, including hospitals, clinics, and nursing homes.

The course is divided into two semesters, each of which is divided into two parts. During the first semester, students will learn about the fundamentals of nursing, including anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and medical terminology. They will also learn about the different types of nursing care, such as acute care, long-term care, and home health care. In addition, students will learn about the legal and ethical aspects of nursing, as well as the importance of communication and teamwork.

In the second semester, students will learn about the different types of health care services, such as primary care, mental health care, and geriatric care. They will also learn about the different types of medical equipment and how to use them safely and effectively. In addition, students will learn about the different types of medications and how to administer them correctly.

At the end of the course, students will be able to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the principles of health care nursing and be able to apply them in a variety of settings. They will also be able to demonstrate the ability to work effectively as part of a health care team.
