Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University (CSJMU) offers a Diploma in Community Medical Service and Essential Drug Course (DCMSEDC). This course is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide medical services to the community. The course covers topics such as medical ethics, public health, epidemiology, health promotion, health education, and community health. It also provides students with the opportunity to gain practical experience in the field through field visits and internships. The course duration is two years and the course fee is Rs. 10,000. The course is open to all students who have completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination. The course is conducted in English and Hindi. Upon successful completion of the course, students will be awarded a Diploma in Community Medical Service and Essential Drug Course.
