Chandigarh University offers a Diploma in Veterinary Science, a two-year program designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become successful veterinarians. The program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of veterinary medicine, including the diagnosis and treatment of animals, the management of animal health, and the prevention of animal diseases. The program also covers topics such as animal nutrition, animal behavior, animal welfare, and animal reproduction.

The program is divided into four semesters, with each semester focusing on a specific area of veterinary medicine. During the first semester, students will learn about the anatomy and physiology of animals, as well as the principles of animal nutrition and animal behavior. In the second semester, students will focus on the diagnosis and treatment of diseases, as well as the management of animal health. The third semester will cover topics such as animal reproduction, animal welfare, and animal nutrition. Finally, the fourth semester will focus on the prevention of animal diseases and the management of animal health.

Throughout the program, students will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through clinical rotations and laboratory work.
