Chandigarh University offers a Certificate in Operation Theatre Assistant Course. This course is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills required to become an effective and efficient Operation Theatre Assistant. The course is of one year duration and is divided into three semesters. The course covers topics such as anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, sterilization and disinfection, surgical instruments, surgical asepsis, and patient care. It also includes practical training in the operation theatre.

The course also covers the principles of infection control, safety and emergency procedures, and the use of medical equipment. The course also provides students with an understanding of the roles and responsibilities of an Operation Theatre Assistant. The course also covers the ethical and legal aspects of the profession.

The course also provides students with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the operation theatre.
