Amity University Mumbai offers a Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery program. This program is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become a successful nurse and midwife. The program is divided into two parts: the first part focuses on the theoretical aspects of nursing and midwifery, while the second part focuses on the practical aspects.

The theoretical part of the program covers topics such as anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, medical-surgical nursing, obstetrics and gynecology, and community health nursing. Students also learn about the legal and ethical aspects of nursing and midwifery, as well as the principles of health promotion and disease prevention. In addition, students gain an understanding of the roles and responsibilities of a nurse and midwife in the healthcare system.

The practical part of the program includes clinical training in a variety of settings, such as hospitals, clinics, and community health centers. During this part of the program, students gain hands-on experience in patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. They also learn how to provide health education and counseling to patients and their families.

Upon completion of the program, students are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) and the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses (NCLEX-PN). Upon successful completion of the exams, students are eligible to become registered nurses and practical nurses.
