The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Delhi Certificate in Operation Theatre Assistant Course is a one-year full-time course designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills required to work as an Operation Theatre Assistant in a hospital setting. The course is conducted by the Department of Anaesthesiology and Critical Care at AIIMS Delhi.
The course covers a range of topics including anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, anaesthesiology, surgical techniques, sterilization techniques, and patient care. It also includes practical training in the operation theatre, where students learn to assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operation theatre, and in the administration of anaesthesia.
