GD Goenka University Diploma in Assistant Nursing & Midwifery is a two-year diploma program designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become a successful assistant nurse and midwife. The program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the fundamentals of nursing and midwifery, as well as the practical skills needed to provide quality care to patients. The program focuses on the development of the student’s clinical and communication skills, as well as their ability to work in a team environment.

The program is divided into four semesters, each of which covers a range of topics related to nursing and midwifery. During the first semester, students will learn about the fundamentals of nursing and midwifery, including anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, and pharmacology. In the second semester, students will learn about the principles of patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. In the third semester, students will learn about the principles of midwifery, including prenatal care, labor and delivery, and postpartum care. Finally, in the fourth semester, students will learn about the principles of public health, including health promotion, disease prevention, and health education.

The program also provides students with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a clinical setting. Students will have the opportunity to observe and participate in the care of patients in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, and nursing homes. This experience will help students develop the skills necessary to provide quality care to patients.

Upon successful completion of the program, students will be eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN). This exam is required for licensure as a registered nurse in the United States.
