The University of Calcutta Diploma in Health Care Nursing course is a two-year program designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become a successful health care nurse. The course covers topics such as anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, medical-surgical nursing, obstetrics and gynecology, nutrition, and community health nursing. Students will also gain practical experience through clinical rotations in various health care settings. Upon completion of the program, students will be eligible to take the Nursing Council of India’s licensing examination and become a registered nurse. The course also provides students with the opportunity to specialize in areas such as pediatric nursing, gerontological nursing, and mental health nursing.
