Utkal University’s Diploma in Medical Assistant course is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become a successful medical assistant. The program covers topics such as medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, medical office procedures, and medical coding. Students will also learn how to perform basic medical procedures, including taking vital signs, administering injections, and assisting with minor medical procedures. Additionally, the program provides students with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a clinical setting. Upon completion of the program, students will be prepared to take the National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) exam.

The program is designed to be completed in two years and consists of both classroom and clinical instruction. Students will be required to complete a minimum of 600 hours of clinical experience in order to graduate. In addition to the classroom and clinical instruction, students will also be required to complete a capstone project in order to demonstrate their knowledge and skills. Upon successful completion of the program, students will be eligible to take the NCMA exam and become a certified medical assistant.
