The VMOU Diploma in TB Health Visitor course is an advanced diploma program designed to equip health professionals with the knowledge and skills to effectively manage tuberculosis (TB) in their communities. The program is designed to provide comprehensive training in TB diagnosis, treatment, and prevention. It also covers the epidemiology of TB, the principles of TB control, and the role of health visitors in TB control. The program is designed to equip health professionals with the necessary skills to effectively manage TB in their communities.

The program is divided into two parts: the first part covers the theoretical aspects of TB, including the epidemiology, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of TB. The second part covers the practical aspects of TB, including the role of health visitors in TB control, the principles of TB control, and the management of TB in the community. The program also includes a field visit to a TB clinic, where students can observe the management of TB in the community.

The program is designed to equip health professionals with the necessary skills to effectively manage TB in their communities. Upon successful completion of the program, students will be awarded a Diploma in TB Health Visitor from VMOU.
