The University of Calcutta Certificate in Veterinary Laboratory Technology Course is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become a veterinary laboratory technician. The course covers topics such as animal anatomy and physiology, laboratory techniques, laboratory safety, and laboratory management.

The course is divided into two semesters and is offered in both full-time and part-time modes. In the first semester, students learn about animal anatomy and physiology, laboratory techniques, laboratory safety, and laboratory management. In the second semester, students learn about laboratory analysis, laboratory diagnosis, and laboratory management.

The course also includes practical training in the laboratory and field. Students are required to complete a minimum of 40 hours of practical training in the laboratory and field. This includes hands-on experience in the laboratory, as well as field trips to veterinary clinics and animal shelters.

At the end of the course, students are required to pass a comprehensive examination. Upon successful completion of the course, students are awarded a Certificate in Veterinary Laboratory Technology. This certificate is recognized by the Veterinary Council of India and is accepted by many employers in the veterinary field.
