The KNRUHS Certificate in Orthopaedic and Plaster Assistant course is an intensive program designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become a successful Orthopaedic and Plaster Assistant. The program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the anatomy and physiology of the musculoskeletal system, as well as the principles of orthopaedic and plaster casting. The program also covers the principles of patient care, including patient assessment, wound care, and the application of casts and splints.

The program is offered by the Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) and is conducted over a period of six months. During this period, students will receive theoretical and practical training in the areas of orthopaedic and plaster casting. The program also includes clinical training in a hospital setting, where students will gain hands-on experience in the application of casts and splints.

The program is designed to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to become a successful Orthopaedic and Plaster Assistant. Upon successful completion of the program, students will be able to provide quality care to patients with musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. They will also be able to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions, as well as the application of casts and splints.
