Uttaranchal University Certificate in Community Health is a one-year program designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to work in the field of community health. The program focuses on the development of a comprehensive understanding of the health needs of communities, and the strategies and interventions necessary to address those needs.

The program is divided into two semesters. During the first semester, students will gain an understanding of the principles of community health, including epidemiology, health promotion, and health education. They will also learn about the roles and responsibilities of community health workers, and the ethical and legal considerations of working in the field.

In the second semester, students will focus on the practical application of community health principles. They will learn about the design and implementation of health programs, and the evaluation of their effectiveness. They will also explore the role of community health workers in the delivery of health services.

The program also includes field visits to local health centers and community organizations, as well as hands-on experience in the field. Upon completion of the program, students will be prepared to work as community health workers, or to pursue further studies in the field.
