IEC University offers a Certificate in Emergency Medical Technology (EMT) to equip students with the knowledge and skills to provide emergency medical care in a variety of settings. This program is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills to respond to medical emergencies and provide pre-hospital care. The program is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills to assess and manage medical emergencies, provide basic life support, and transport patients to appropriate medical facilities. The program includes courses in anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, pharmacology, and emergency medical services. Students will also gain hands-on experience in the field through clinical rotations and field internships. Upon successful completion of the program, students will be eligible to take the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) certification exam. With this certification, students will be able to work as an EMT in a variety of settings. IEC University’s Certificate in Emergency Medical Technology provides students with the knowledge and skills to provide emergency medical care in a variety of settings.
