Silver Oak University’s Certificate in Nursing Care Assistant Course is a comprehensive program designed to prepare students for a career in nursing care. The program consists of five courses, each focusing on a different aspect of nursing care. The first course covers the fundamentals of nursing care, including anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, and patient assessment. The second course focuses on the role of the nursing assistant in providing direct patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and infection control. The third course covers the legal and ethical aspects of nursing care, including patient rights and confidentiality. The fourth course focuses on communication and interpersonal skills, such as patient education and advocacy. The fifth and final course covers the management of nursing care, including budgeting and scheduling. Upon completion of the program, students will be prepared to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Nursing Assistants (NCLEX-CNA).
