The Neotia University Certificate in Dental Assistant Course 2023
The program is divided into two parts: the didactic portion and the clinical portion. The didactic portion of the program consists of lectures, seminars, and laboratory sessions that cover topics such as dental anatomy, physiology, and pathology; dental materials and equipment; dental radiography; dental laboratory procedures; and dental office management. The clinical portion of the program consists of clinical rotations in which students gain hands-on experience in the dental office.
The program also includes a practicum in which students are required to complete a minimum of 100 hours of supervised clinical experience in a dental office. During the practicum, students are expected to demonstrate their knowledge and skills in the areas of dental anatomy, physiology, and pathology; dental materials and equipment; dental radiography; dental laboratory procedures; and dental office management.
Upon successful completion of the program, students will receive a Certificate in Dental Assistant from The Neotia University. This certificate will demonstrate to potential employers that the student has the necessary knowledge and skills to become a successful dental assistant.
