The Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) Certificate in Dental Assistant course is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become a successful dental assistant. The program is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to assist dentists in providing quality dental care to patients. The course covers topics such as dental anatomy, dental materials, dental radiography, dental laboratory procedures, dental office management, and dental assisting techniques.

The program is designed to prepare students for the National Dental Assisting Examination Board (NDAEB) certification exam. Students will learn how to perform dental procedures such as taking impressions, making temporary crowns, and performing dental radiographs. They will also learn how to assist the dentist in providing quality patient care, including taking medical histories, preparing patients for treatment, and providing post-operative instructions.

The program also provides students with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a clinical setting. Students will have the opportunity to observe and assist dentists in a variety of dental procedures. This experience will help students gain the confidence and skills necessary to become successful dental assistants.

Upon successful completion of the program, students will be eligible to take the NDAEB certification exam and become a Certified Dental Assistant.
