Bishop Heber College (BHC) in Thiruchirapalli offers a wide range of paramedical courses for students who wish to pursue a career in the healthcare sector. The college offers courses in Nursing, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Medical Laboratory Technology, Radiography, and Optometry. All the courses are of three-year duration and require the student to have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks in the relevant stream.

The college also offers a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing) course which is of four-year duration and requires the student to have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks in the relevant stream. The college also offers a Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing course which is of two-year duration and requires the student to have a diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM).

The college accepts the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) for admission to all the courses. The fee structure for the courses varies depending on the course and the student’s category. The fee for the B.Sc. Nursing course is Rs. 1.5 lakhs per annum and the fee for the Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing course is Rs. 1.2 lakhs per annum.
